Iran 'A Trivial Thing’ grabs award at India

Iran's short film ‘A Trivial Thing’ wins award at the Ahmedabad Int'l Children's Film Festival in India.

Iranian short film ‘A Trivial Thing’ has grabbed an award at the Ahmedabad International Children's Film Festival (AICFF) in India.

According to the Iranian Youth Cinema Society, ‘A Trivial Thing’ was named the Best Student Film at the 2nd edition of AICFF.

Directed by Seyyed-Morteza Sabz-Qaba, ‘A Trivial Thing’ narrates the story of a young man who wishes to become an actor.

The film is starring Majid Ardalan and Ali Qasemi.

The Ahmedabad International Children's Film Festival screens films made for children and students.

It also features films made by schoolchildren themselves.

The 2020 edition of AICFF was held online due to the coronavirus pandemic on December 18-19.
